Hamas says its military wing killed 1,365 Israelis in 24 years

They are so proud of murdering Israelis that they brag about it.

Gaza - The Palestinian group Hamas killed 1,365 Israelis and wounded 6,411 over the past 24 years, the movement said Wednesday in a statement to mark its 1987 founding.

Izz a-Din al-Qassam, Hamas’ armed wing, said it had carried out some 1,117 attacks against Israelis, including 87 suicide bombings. The movement fired 11,039 rockets into Israel and tried 24 times to abduct Israelis, it added.

The statement added that 1,848 Hamas militants were killed by the Israeli military.

It was not possible to immediately and independently verify the Hamas figures.

Hundreds of thousands of Hamas supporters gathered in Gaza City Wednesday to mark the anniversary.

Well, in my opinion, if they are using body count as a measure of success they are failing in their military goals. In war, you can't measure your way to success.

Furthermore, if killing Israelis invalidates the Palestinians need for a state of their own wouldn't the deaths of Palestinians invalidate Israel's existence?

Shrugs. It doesn't matter. There will never be peace in the Middle East. There are too many people, on all sides of the conflict, who want victory. Which isn't the same thing as peace.

If they were really serious about peace they wouldn't be building rockets in the Sinai Peninsula.

This averages out to less than 57 deaths per year. If Hamas was just one guy, that would be a body-count to brag about. For a militant organization dedicated to genocide, this is pitiful. Not to mention, they admit the IDF scored a higher body count against them?

And they call that "boasting?" This is the diet cola of evil. Shouldn't mass-murderers have higher standards?

Hamas' goals are to fight a war. Fatah's goals are the same. Israel is trying to build a successful country, under the most trying circumstances. If your main concern is the people living in Gaza and the West Bank, new leadership would be most helpful, new leadership with different goals than perpetual warfare.

You're joking, right? Are you seriously equating attacks with defense?

Sadly, you are wrong. And when I say "sadly", it's because there are PLENTY of Israelis who want peace - & they are willing sell their own country down the river to get it. But you're right about the "no peace" part, because they still haven't learned that they will not get peace any sacrifice, just more rockets.
